Magazine Freebies!

Before I start this post I have to declare that I have a new camera! Yippee! I do normally take pictures using my Iphone which don't get me wrong is a good camera but I needed something a little crispier and more blog like so watch this space for better pictures! Yay!

Back to the post... 

I'm going to get straight to the point and say I LOVE it when magazines have freebies attached to them! It makes my month a lot more exciting (tells you how much I get out!) and as most bloggers will tell you I love trying new things for a a fraction of the price it would have normally cost!

First up we have Cosmopolitian :

Attached to their covers this month are Elemis Freshskin skin care products.

• 10ml Loving Lips Quenching Lip Balm 
• 25ml Skin Clear Mattifying Moisturiser 

I went for the Mattifying Moisturiser as I have combination/oily skin so thought this would suit me best

So far so good! It's doing what it claims and feels really lovely on my skin.

Now we have Glamour Magazine. Glamour are renowned for giving away amazing freebies and this month is no exception!

 

They have in their magazine this month Percy and Reed goodies which are :

• Colour Shine Shampoo
• Colour Shine Conditioner
• Finishing Polish
• Smoothed, Sealed & Sensational Volumising No Oil OIl

As you can see I purchased all 4! Considering these retail for around the £10-£15 mark and the magazine is £2 it's a no brainer!

The products are lovely to use and so far so good!

I know Marie Claire is also giving away a free hand cream, but to be honest I need another hand cream like I hole in my head at the moment, so I'm giving that one a miss but check it out if you need one as it is great value!

FREE Nails Inc with Glamour Magazine and loads of samples too!

I have been away for such a LONG time and for that I apologise greatly...

I have had a few issues with my camera and while it is still having issues I have decided to take pictures with my Iphone. I was a little apprehensive at first as I didn't think the quality would be great but I'm quite surprised as the pictures ain't half as bad as I thought so I hope you can put up with the Iphone quality for now.. :)

Anyway onto the post! :D

So it's this time again when you get the fantastic Nails Inc polish with Glamour Magazine! I just love it when they do these collaborations as its a fab saving and a fab way to try out new polishes for cheap... Win Win!
I decided to go with the Elizabeth Street polish:

 It's a gorgeous milky pink shade which is right up my street!
I'm not sure of the names of the others shades but they are:
A navy blue
A red
and a gold glitter which I am also tempted to pick up...

I was quite surprised by how many samples are in this issue! I LOVE it when magazines do samples it makes me all excited as I love trying out new products so yippee and here they are:

So as you may agree this magazine is filled to the brim with lovely goodies which for £2 is a complete bargain!
Can't wait to try everything out especially the primer and Rimmel BB cream :)

FREE Percy & Reed Hair Treats In Glamour Magazine!

I literally LOVE months like these when magazines give away really good freebies!
This month Glamour magazine are giving away free Percy & Reed hair treats which include:

• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Finishing Polish
• Hydrating Mask

I got the Shampoo and Conditioner which I can't wait to use! I have actually never heard of this brand before but on the front of the magazine if you collect all 4 it equals to being worth £43! So they must be around the £10 mark (ish)

If you didn't see my post yesterday Cosmopolitan magazine are giving away FREE (don't you just love that word?!) Clinique goodies which you can find here  So it certainly is a great month for magazine freebies!

On other news I re-subscribed to Glossybox again. I ended my subscription last month as I was just continually disappointed by the boxes BUT due to the 'special' March box I couldn't resist subscribing again (good job Glossybox!) But I must admit I was actually sad not be receiving the boxes and getting that little bit of excitement each month... ha ha. I just hope this box is as good as it has been hyped up to be.... We shall see....

I also brought We Need to Talk About Kevin on DVD yesterday and I am SO excited to watch it again!! I never normally buy DVD's as soon as they come out because they are always destined to go cheap but I couldn't resist as this film is truly incredible, I remember walking out of the cinema thinking that truly is one of the greatest films I have ever seen, I love it SO much, so give it a watch! :)
